A not-for-profit working two fronts at once — engagement toward a smarter, more accountable democracy, and dialogue toward Christian unity — because we believe both are part of the same calling.
Vanguard For Integrity, Peace and Progress is committed to building a humane and just Nigeria—one guided by truth, love, and excellence. Beyond our nation, we stand for the liberation of the black race, unlocking its full potential to positively shape world events.
VIPP was registered in Abuja in 2016, with an associate body — Vanguard for Peace and Progress Int'l — based in Denver, Colorado.
We support communities pursuing their legitimate, denied rights through engagement with administration officials, never violence; and stand apart from party partisanship.
Peace and dialogue among adherents of different religions, and among Christian groups themselves, in the spirit of ecumenism — "that they may be one." (John 17:21)
Three dedicated funds collate the generosity of the many and disburse it to the poor, the infirm, and victims of the vicissitudes of life.
A community identifies a denied right or an unaddressed grievance.
VIPP facilitates dialogue and protestation, always in disavowal of violence.
Facts surface through honest engagement with officials and stakeholders.
Resolution, vindication for the community, or a corrected course.
Ordinarily, there is little any one of us can do alone. Together, we give succor to neighbors facing the vicissitudes of life.
Peace and dialogue among adherents of different religions, and among Christian groups themselves, in the spirit of ecumenism, "that they may be one." (John 17:21)
Solace to victims of natural disasters, displaced persons, the poor, the infirm, and the needy.
For those born blind, deaf, or without means; orphans, widows, and others who need a helping hand.

Written by Sir Fidelis A. Olafusi, KSS, Chairman and CEO of VIPP.
